Contemporary dance-theatre company based in Baton Rouge
OMC’s programming can be summarized in three main areas: PERFORMANCE, OUTREACH, and TRAINING. The organization offers 2-3 full scale, multimedia, dance theatre productions annually, then takes material from these shows and reaches out to 10,000 – 15,000 children and adults each year in schools, festivals, libraries, and private events. Finally, we provide modern dance training for dancers in our community through regular classes and residencies with world-class guest dance artists (2-3 annually).
