About Venue
Maverick’s Q~n~Brew is veteran owned and operated by Zachary residents, Todd Stevens and Laura Fontenot (Bly). Maverick's is known for its slow smoked brisket and pork butts. The restaurant is family friendly, dog friendly and and hosts live music on the outside stage or small music venues inside the train depot, which was built in 1894 and is where many soldiers were shipped off to war in the early 1900s. Names of the soldiers can still be seen on the interior walls of the building and are more pronounced by viewing through your phone's camera.
The restaurant offers inside seating, patio seating and second floor veranda seating overlooking the stage. The 26 foot bar is home for a 24 tap Bottoms Up system which serves the perfectly chilled craft beer from the bottom of the glass up with minimal waste or foam. If beer isn't your thing, we also have a full bar and several varieties of wine.
