Grab a blanket or lawn chair and join BREC for a family movie under the stars. Come out with your family, enjoy games & activities prior to the start of the movie. Movies will begin at dusk, in the event of inclement weather will be moved inside gym.
Sing (PG)
Dapper Koala Buster Moon presides over a once-grand theater that has fallen on hard times. An eternal optimist, and a bit of a scoundrel, he loves his theater above all and will do anything to preserve it. Facing the crumbling of his life's ambition, he takes one final chance to restore his fading jewel to its former glory by producing the world's greatest singing competition. Five contestants emerge: a mouse, a timid elephant, a pig, a gorilla and a punk-rock porcupine. |

March 3: Welcome, Spring! - This class invites participants to welcome spring by painting a bouquet of colorful flowers in a personalized (artistic freedom!) vase. Complementing the freshly painted bouquets will be wine, cheese and sweet treats.
April 21: April Showers - Have you ever walked through a warm spring rain with no particular destination? This class hopes to invoke that feeling with a lovely painted image of walking through the rain under softly glowing lights. Wine and charcuterie will be served.

Join BREC Art and artists for our first ArtsFest @Baringer Park. This free, immersive experience will give the public a chance to see what BREC Art can do for your creative instincts. Live artist demonstrations including painting, pottery wheel throwing, sculpture, encaustic painting, printmaking and art journaling. Some “curious arts” will be explored with demonstrations of macrame/fiber arts, Ikebana and latte art. Mural painting on the Baringer Art Center will be in progress for the public to view. For the kids, lots of creative play and art activities to join in and a sidewalk chalk drawing contest as well! |
