GEORGE BELL AND FRIENDS: HOLIDAY JAZZ SPONSORED IN PART BY ESSENTIAL FEDERAL CREDIT UNION AND OCHSNER HEALTH ‍ Join George Bell and Friends for their 12th Annual Evening of Holiday Jazz. This year’s much anticipated show returns to the beautiful Manship Theatre for two special nights. Once again, George will be joined by GB & Friends veterans Herman Jackson, drums; Harry Anderson, bass; Andy Bourgeois, piano and keyboards; Dr. Greg Ward, percussion and harmonica; Ray Mouton, guitar; and a host of other supporting artists from his past shows. Special guest again this year will be recording artist Quiana Lynell, winner of the 2017 Sarah Vaughn International Jazz Vocalist Contest. Quiana’s soul-stirring performance on “O Holy Night,” accompanied by Trenise Gautier on harp, displayed her classically trained, four octave range, and created one of the most memorable musical moments of the entire evening.
