This also means that Roux Rally is around the corner as we prepare for another great event on February 1, 2020. Join us as 50 teams battle it out in the gumbo competition along with live music performances. All the gumbo, all the fun, all for a great cause…as proceeds are donated to Youth Oasis Children's Shelter in Baton Rouge. Local Chefs will be judging the Chicken and Sausage, Seafood and Cajun Combo divisions, but as you enter the event you will be given a ticket to vote for your favorite gumbo. The team with the most tickets is also awarded the much sought after People’s Choice Award. Teams work hard to sway your votes as both gumbo taste and tent atmosphere are in play…so come hungry and prepared for a great time! |

BURNHOUSE, local to Baton Rouge, LA, is a college rock band that delivers a high energy show with entertaining stage presence. The band plays rock music that is familiar to the crowd as well as original music. BURNHOUSE is all about keeping the fans engaged and entertained for the entire show. The band plays many events around the region and is looking to expand their fan base. BURNHOUSE frequently performs at college events, fairs, festivals, and other music events around the area. They have recently released an all original album titled "The Fugitive". The album release show at The Varsity Theater in Baton Rouge was a near sell out! The band is liked by crowds of all ages but is geared towards college kids and up.
