John Ruiz Jr is a Louisiana based Country-Rock, singer\/songwriter. He is relatively new on the scene. He has had the chance to do shows with Jamey Johnson & Colt Ford back in February too. His debut single, \u201cLong Time Coming,\u201d was his first to reach the top 20 in Country Music charts in LA. \u00a0https:\/\/www.youtube.com\/watch?v=satfxnRIMjU<\/div>\n

\u201cLong Time Coming,\u201d is a powerful country\/rock song that is full of surprises. The vocals are pretty intense. John has a great tone to his voice, which is insanely smooth throughout the entire song. The instrumentals are also on point. It has more of a bluesy country feel to it, especially with the organ and the background vocals. The lyrics also tell a story, which is my favorite part about any kind of music. All in all, this is a solid release by a promising Country\/Rock artist. Considering this is a debut single, it is pretty impressive. John Ruiz Jr proves in this single, that he is one to watch out for.<\/p>\n

\u201cLong Time Coming,\u201d is a good example of music that needs to be played on the radio today. The lyrics and vocals are solid. They have a way of drawing you into the message of the song. If you are looking for an artist that has great vocals and a storytelling ability, check out John Ruiz Jr! You will not be disappointed.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
