The Chase Tyler Band will officially open Southern Rhythm Venue Entertainment on November 6th. That\u2019s right, we have a new venue that promises to bring great entertainment to our area.\u00a0 <\/span>The original venue, Triage then later Good Ole Boys has been transformed into a state-of-the-art entertainment venue.\u00a0 \u00a0 <\/span>Southern Rhythm Venue Entertainment has taken on quite the transformation since owners Steve & Lisa McDaniel purchased the building.\u00a0 <\/span>Initially, Lisa was against purchasing this building because of it\u2019s condition.\u00a0 <\/span>For years the building served as home for varmints. It would be an understatement to say the building was in bad shape.\u00a0 <\/span>But Steve had a vision and Lisa bought in.\u00a0 <\/span>That\u2019s when the work began.<\/p>\n

They were so committed to this venue, they started clean up before they officially purchased the venue this past mid-summer.\u00a0 <\/span>The entire building was gutted to the exterior walls.\u00a0 <\/span>Since they had no prior experience managing an event venue, both musicians and lighting engineers were consulted.\u00a0 <\/span>The Result? The\u00a0 <\/span>stage was enlarged from it\u2019s original design and a killer PA was installed that includes twelve 15\u201d sub woofers.\u00a0 <\/span>The stage lighting has been strategically placed for maximum effect.<\/p>\n

The building has a max occupancy of 444 for an intimate experience.\u00a0 <\/span>Regardless of the event type there isn\u201dt a bad seat in the house since there are no poles to obstruct your vision.\u00a0 <\/span>There is a VIP Balcony area for small groups of 20-35 people.\u00a0 <\/span>While the VIP area could easily support more than 25.\u00a0 <\/span>Steve and Lisa are more concerned with the experience.<\/p>\n

The beautifully finish on the epoxy\u00a0 <\/span>floors blend into the decor which makes this such am inviting venue.\u00a0 <\/span>The beautiful marble bar is enormous for such an intimate venue.\u00a0 <\/span>Over the bar is an owners box (so to speak).\u00a0 <\/span>From there, management can see the entire venue.<\/p>\n

You could call this a family business since their children Laura and Gage are also involved. Steve handles the entertainment and Lisa the day to day operations.\u00a0 <\/span>Laura and Gage, whatever needs to be done and they also will work behind the bar.<\/p>\n

There was a soft opening this past Saturday, Micro Wrestling that had a near capacity audience.<\/p>\n

The Official Grand Opening is this Saturday (11-6). The LSU\/Alabama game will kick things off with free jambalaya and the first 50 people receive a Southern Rhythm T-Shirt. After the game The Chase Tyler Band will take the stage.<\/p>\n

On November 13, Kendall Shaffer will perform his #1 hit on The Louisiana Country Chart and #1 on the Texas Regional Radio Report Rollin Stone<\/i>.\u00a0 <\/span>Future shows include David Mitchell, Chris LeBlanc, Bag of Donuts and even a tribute band is planned.\u00a0 <\/span>And it\u2019s not all music they are bringing to the stage.\u00a0 <\/span>For the ladies, the nationally touring “Girls Night Out<\/i>\u201d show is scheduled.\u00a0 <\/span><\/p>\n

The venue is also available for Weddings, Receptions, Reunions, Graduation, Birthday, & Company Parties. <\/p>\n
